Adult Parkour Classes

Why should kids have all the fun? Get in shape the functional-fitness way and use your body to move in ways you never thought you could. We gently ease you into vaulting, swinging, jumping, rolling, climbing, and more — the only dedicated adult parkour program in the DC area.

It's all about progressions. You'll learn fundamental movements that lead to more advanced skills while developing strength, power, agility, and flexibility. Along the way you'll strengthen your mind-body connection and build real confidence in how you move.

What you'll work on

A full-body practice that's equal parts strength, skill, and play:

  • Vaulting
    Moving over and around obstacles efficiently.
  • Swinging & hanging
    Grip and upper-body strength on the bars.
  • Jumping & landing
    Power, precision, and joint-friendly landings.
  • Rolling
    Safe ways to absorb impact and protect yourself.
  • Climbing
    Total-body strength applied to real movement.
  • Mobility & strength
    Functional fitness that carries into daily life.

What a class looks like

Each 60-minute class begins with a mobility-focused warm-up, then moves into coached skill work scaled to your level. Whether you're brand new or returning to training, coaches give you a version of every movement that challenges you without overreaching.

There's no rooftop daredevilry here — just a supportive room full of adults learning to move better, on padded floors and soft equipment, one progression at a time.

Adult Parkour FAQ

I'm not in great shape — can I still do this?

Absolutely. Every movement is scaled to your level, and the class is built for adults starting exactly where you are. You'll build fitness as you go.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Most of our adults start as complete beginners.

Isn't parkour dangerous?

Trained indoors on padded, purpose-built equipment with progressions and coaching, it's a safe, controlled way to build strength and skill.
