Gaithersburg families looking for dedicated parkour instruction will find it just 20–25 minutes south. Bolt Parkour in North Bethesda offers a full range of parkour and tumbling programs for kids and adults in a purpose-built 7,200 sq ft facility.
Gaithersburg is one of Montgomery County's largest and fastest-growing communities. Bolt Parkour in North Bethesda is approximately 20–25 minutes south via I-270 or MD-355. Our 7,200 sq ft facility is purpose-built for parkour instruction — vaults, precision jump zones, balance challenges, a tumbling strip, and springy floors. No other facility in the county offers the same combination of space and specialized coaching.
Gaithersburg has a strong rec program through the city and Montgomery County, but rec-level parkour is a different experience from structured professional instruction. At Bolt, coaches are parkour practitioners themselves — not generalist youth sports instructors assigned to a class. They teach the sport they love, which makes a real difference in how they explain skills, how they spot students, and how they keep kids engaged class after class.
We run classes from age 3 through adult, including Preschool Movement, Parkour Basics, Advanced Parkour, Tumbling, and Adult Parkour. Gaithersburg families who make the drive tend to be committed to the sport — many of our longest-tenured students are from the Gaithersburg and Rockville corridor, having started years ago and progressed through multiple program levels.
Summer camp is a popular draw for Gaithersburg families who want their kids to have an intensive parkour experience. Our weekly camps run June through August with full-day and half-day options for kids 6 and up. Many Gaithersburg families book one or two camp weeks at Bolt to complement their summer plans. Register early — camp weeks fill faster each year.
From Gaithersburg, take I-270 South to the Old Georgetown Road exit and head south, or take MD-355 (Rockville Pike) south through Rockville directly to our facility. The drive is approximately 20–25 minutes depending on traffic. Free parking on site.
