Potomac families who want the best for their kids end up at Bolt. There’s nowhere else in the DC area offering dedicated parkour instruction at this level — a 7,200 sq ft facility purpose-built for movement, staffed by coaches who are practitioners themselves.

Classes keep a maximum 8:1 student-to-coach ratio. Every session is structured with clear skill progressions, not supervised free play. Your child will actually get better, session over session, in a way you can see.

From Potomac, we’re a straight shot up River Road or via I-495 to Montrose Road — typically under 15 minutes.

Potomac families tend to find us through word of mouth — we have a strong showing of students from the Potomac area who appreciate the small class sizes and individualized coaching that's harder to find at larger rec programs. It's about a 15-minute drive via River Road or Falls Road, and worth every minute.

Programs for Potomac Kids and Adults

We run programs for ages 3 through adult across parkour, tumbling, and movement fundamentals. Potomac families tend to enroll children who are already athletic — kids coming from competitive travel sports, private gymnastics, or martial arts who want to add something physically demanding and mentally engaging. Parkour challenges both the body and the problem-solving mind simultaneously, which tends to hook high-achieving kids quickly. Our Advanced Parkour track is well-suited for this group, with skills that take real practice to master.

Camps for Potomac Kids

When MCPS closes, Bolt opens: our School's Out day camps run 9 AM–4 PM on district closure days ($130/day, ages 6+). In summer, weekly half- and full-day camps run mid-June to late August, by the week or by the single day — book early for the popular weeks. A handful of Potomac families have made Bolt summer camp a multi-year tradition for their kids.

Parkour Parties in Potomac's Backyard

We host some of the most unique birthday parties in the area. Kids ages 6 and up get 60 minutes of coached parkour — vaulting, jumping, tumbling, obstacle courses — followed by 30 minutes for cake and celebration in our lobby. It's hands-down the most active party option within 20 minutes of Potomac, and kids consistently rate it as one of the best birthday experiences they've had. Parties run Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons; book early, especially for spring and summer dates.

Directions from Potomac

From Potomac, take River Road east to Old Georgetown Road and head north, or take Falls Road north to Montrose Road and head east. Most Potomac addresses are about 12–18 minutes depending on traffic. Free parking on site at our North Bethesda facility.
