McLean families are just across the Potomac — and Bolt Parkour is the closest dedicated parkour gym to McLean, Virginia. About 15–20 minutes via the American Legion Bridge, our North Bethesda facility offers expert parkour and tumbling classes for kids and adults.
There are no dedicated parkour gyms in McLean or the immediate Northern Virginia corridor. Bolt Parkour in North Bethesda is your closest option — approximately 15–20 minutes via the American Legion Bridge (I-495) to Old Georgetown Road. For a sport that's genuinely hard to find quality instruction in, that's a reasonable commute for families who want real coaching in a purpose-built facility.
McLean has an exceptionally active youth sports market — travel soccer, competitive gymnastics, swim teams, and lacrosse are all deeply embedded. Parkour attracts a specific kind of McLean family: parents of kids who are already athletic and looking for something different, or parents whose children haven't connected with team sports and need a physical outlet. Parkour scales to both profiles perfectly. It's as challenging as you want it to be, the progress is visible and personal, and there's no bench time.
We offer structured programs from age 3 through adult. McLean students tend to have strong athletic backgrounds, and our Advanced Parkour track is well-suited for experienced movers. We also see Virginia families in our Tumbling program — floor-based acrobatics that transfers directly to gymnastics, cheer, and martial arts. All programs run in our 7,200 sq ft North Bethesda facility with an 8:1 student-to-coach ratio.
Virginia families who make the trip for weekly classes tend to make the trip for summer camp too. Our weekly parkour camps run mid-June through mid-August, with full-day and half-day options. We recommend registering early — popular weeks fill by April or May. The American Legion Bridge commute is easy during summer mornings when DC traffic is lighter.
From McLean, take Chain Bridge Road or Georgetown Pike to I-495 East, cross the American Legion Bridge into Maryland, and take the Old Georgetown Road exit north. We're about 2 miles north of the bridge. The drive is typically 15–20 minutes. Free parking on site.
