Contact UsKensington is one of Montgomery County’s most family-dense communities — and parents here are serious about finding activities that actually develop their kids. Bolt Parkour isn’t a drop-in gym. We run structured classes with certified coaches, capped at 8 students, where every child gets real attention.
Whether your child is 6 years old and never done parkour before, or a teenager looking to train seriously — we have a class built for them. And for adults, our Adult Parkour classes are unlike anything else in the area.
From Kensington, we’re under 10 minutes via Connecticut Avenue or University Boulevard — an easy drop before or after school.
Kensington is one of our fastest-growing neighborhoods for enrollment. The community's mix of young families and outdoor-oriented parents is a natural fit for parkour. We're about 10 minutes away via Connecticut Avenue, and several Kensington families have siblings enrolled across multiple programs here.
Kensington has a strong community culture around outdoor play, physical activity, and independent-minded kids. That profile fits parkour well. The sport rewards creativity, persistence, and comfort with challenge — exactly the values Kensington parents tend to prioritize. We also see a lot of siblings from the same Kensington families enrolling across different age groups, which speaks to how the program retains families over time.
We run structured programs from age 3 through adult. Kensington's enrollment skews toward the 6–12 age range, which is our most active class group. Kids in this range are physically ready to start building real parkour skills — vaults, precision jumps, flow sequences — and mentally engaged enough to appreciate the progression. We also run a growing Adult Parkour class on weekday evenings that draws several regulars from the Kensington and Wheaton areas.
Summer camps run weekly June through August, with full-day and half-day options. Kensington families have increasingly been booking as soon as registration opens — camp weeks fill faster each year as our reputation grows in the area. If you're planning on summer camp, we recommend registering by March or April for the best week selection.
From Kensington, take Connecticut Avenue north to Montrose Road, then head west to Old Georgetown Road. The drive is about 10 minutes from central Kensington. Free parking at the facility.
